Being a part of the The Ernest Cook Trust Outdoor Week of Learning (OWLs) programme, is a highlight for us here at the farm. During the week schools take part in a variety of activities encompassing teamwork, orienteering, farming, and engaging with nature.

One of our activities involves ‘Nature Connection Stops’. Whilst out and about across the farm groups are given tasks as a way to connect them with their surroundings. One of the tasks is to write a poem reflecting on the landscape. This beautiful poem was written by two pupils from Beechwood Primary.
