Some schools come to us with specific learning aims
Others come to give the children an experience they have never had before
All our learning activities are experiential and have a lesson plan and links to the curriculum. Whether you choose to focus on learning, or more practical or sensory options is up to you. Most schools (and most children) opt for the big hits – Survival in the Wild, River Dipping, Hands on Farming and Eco-Cooking. Children love to learn about where their food comes from, and taste home-grown produce from our fruit and vegetable gardens. Physical and team building activities such as orienteering and the low ropes challenge complement arts, crafts, tree planting, egg collecting and discovering the farm’s amazing wildlife. The climbing frame and zipwire are good for burning off any excess energy. Schools who stay longer often like to go fossil hunting on the beach.
The children have had an amazing week… they have just been like sponges. They've just absorbed absolutely everything and they have loved every second of it.

A highlight for me was when we were orienteering because we worked together, and nobody was left out

I really enjoyed the team challenges. It required me to think in a different way
